Hold On

In order for there to be resurrection, there first must be death. If something in your life is breaking apart, dying, and you can’t understand why, hold on.

It might hurt like hell, to lose something you have cherished. It might be darker than you ever imagined. It might take all of your strength to stand in the storm. Hold on anyway.

Remember, new life requires painful birthing. So allow yourself to be broken open. Shed the tears. Wail, moan and scream. Release your grip, let go, and find the new life waiting on the other side.

Resurrection is beautiful, abundant, freedom. New life is on the way. But first, there is the dying. Hold on.
